Jeanne D'Arse/The Bearded Lady has a ton of new songs and played one gig in 2004 along with JOA's Joss, HP and Goodtime John. There will be another on June 23rd 2006 in the Boom Boom Room in Dublin under the name The French Letter A. The Dudley Corporation and Oppenheimer are playing too. Cost is a tenner.

So there's still a new Joan Of Arse LP, entitled Mating Under The Gallows, that's been sitting awaiting release for ages. As of now, it may come out. Sometime. There's a song off it on our myspace page. Yes, I know. But everyone else was making one.
It contains 5 new songs which were recorded in Chicago with our last LP and one from 2003's 2FM fanning session. One of these 5 songs appeared on 2003's split 7" with Estel on Road Relish Records.

There's a half-done LP recorded with Decal's Alan O'Boyle. We captured the violin of Eamon O'Hainin before he departed for Australia in a prison ship. Thus it'll be the only document of the recent 6-piece Arse once we get it finished. Maybe this Summer. Don't be emailing geezer@ireland.com cos it's dead. Try joa[at]jums.net
